Meet Tom, the Owner
of TWM Roofing
Tom's journey in roofing began in 1978 with the Emergency Home Repair Project, a federal work training program for troubled youth, where he installed new roofs for disadvantaged homeowners in Portland, Oregon. Under the mentorship of Chuck Peterson, an expert in roofing and youth work, Tom quickly developed his skills. By 1980, while still in high school, Tom was writing his own roofing contracts.
In 1985, he relocated to Carlsbad, CA, leaving behind Portland's 40-degree rain. After two years with a large roofing company, he earned his State contractor’s license in 1987. Tom carved out a niche in leak detection and repair, offering both residential
and commercial roofing
services. His expertise in diagnosing and solving roof leaks has made him a master in the field, often resolving issues that other roofers find perplexing.
With decades of experience, Tom is committed to sharing his extensive knowledge with both the TWM team and customers. He approaches each estimate not just as a job to sell, but as an opportunity to build lifelong relationships. Many of his clients have been with him for over 20 years, a testament to his dedication and accountability.
